Documents worth keeping ready for job forms

Keep identity, a recent photo, and your education papers in one folder. Add a certificate only when the notice you are applying against asks for it.

You cannot know every recruitment’s document list in advance. You can stop searching the house on the last evening.

A base folder

Keep photo identity, a recent plain photograph, marksheets, and any caste, disability, or experience certificate you already use. Store them as clear scans. When a notice arrives, print its document list and tick the base folder against that list. Remove nothing from the folder just because one form did not need it.

Match, then apply

If the notice asks for a signature in a box or a photo under a file size, follow that line. Do not reuse a file from a different exam until you have compared the rules. The comparison method in the two-notice guide works for document rules as well.

Questions this article answers

Should I carry every certificate I have ever received?

Carry what that notice lists. Extra papers create confusion at a desk.

How should I name the scans?

Use plain names that match the document, and keep a copy that is not only on one phone.
