How to write a shop listing people can trust

A trustworthy shop listing uses the real name, the real place, and the services you actually offer. It does not borrow reviews or stuff a title with keywords.

People looking for a local business want to know if you are the shop they think you are. A listing that shouts every possible keyword makes that harder.

Use the name on the board

Write the shop name as it appears outside. Add the area and the town. Say what you sell or repair in one or two sentences. If you close on a particular day, say so. If you do not offer a service, leave it out.

Add a way to reach you that is yours

A phone number or WhatsApp on the listing should be a number you answer. Do not paste a certificate number or a customer’s details into the public text.
