What a CSC visit can help with
A Common Service Centre is a place to get help with digital public services. Ask which service is on offer today, and keep the receipt and the file.
Common Service Centres were set up so people could reach digital public services without already knowing every government website. In practice, the visit is only as clear as the conversation at the desk.
Say the task in one sentence
“I need to update this card” is less useful than “I need to correct the name on this document, and this is the certificate I brought.” Show the papers. Ask which site will be used. You can read about the wider programme through Digital India, then confirm the centre in front of you.
The Sharda desk in Unchehara
Sharda IT Services runs a Jan Seva style desk in front of Unchehra Guest House, alongside browser tools you can use yourself for photos and PDFs. Assisted work and self-serve tools are different. Ask which one you are using before you pay. The payment questions are in this checklist.

Questions this article answers
Is every counter a CSC?
No. Ask the name of the centre and which portal they are using. A shop with a computer is not automatically an authorised centre.
What should I leave with?
Your original documents, a receipt if you paid, and a copy of anything that was submitted.
